Obituary

Lisa Maturi Taylor, 59, of New Egypt passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Lisa relocated to Cream Ridge in 1979 and has called New Egypt her home for the past 40 years.

Lisa approached her career with dedication and professionalism, working for Toll Brothers for 20 years and Merrill Lynch for 15 years prior. Beyond her career, Lisa embraced life with passion and joy. She was a devoted fan of live music and regularly attended concerts including, MusikFest in Bethlehem, PA, and Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park, NJ. Lisa loved the beach, frequently planning her next cruise to a tropical island. Her life was also filled with shades of aqua blue, a color she adored and chose whenever possible. At home, Lisa was inseparable from her Shih Tzu, King Arthur, who followed her around like a shadow. She always went out of her way to support and help anyone she could. Her family was very important to her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Predeceased by her parents Douglas and Janet Maturi, Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Richard L. Taylor; three sons and daughter-in-law, Steven Taylor, Michael and Shannon Taylor, and David Taylor; brother, Matthew Maturi; sister and brother-in-law, Lauren and Richard Turnbach; brother-in-law and wife, Lee and Mary Taylor; sister-in-law and husband, Teresa and Christopher Upmanis; aunt, Lynne Sanzo; aunt and uncle, Lorraine and Robert Mulhall, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. Lisa also leaves behind countless friends from work, and those she has made over the years.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 6th, from 6–8 PM and on Saturday, December 7th, from 9–10:30 AM at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main Street, Allentown, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday, December 7th, at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 1292 Yardville-Allentown Rd, Allentown, NJ. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
