Linda L. Fischer, 72, of Robbinsville, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton. Born in Fort Fairfield, Maine, she was a long time area resident. Linda attended Rider University and worked for many years in Medical Records at Princeton Medical Center and as a medical transcriptionist for Dr. Farmer. Linda also worked for Hightstown and Allentown High Schools. She was a member of the Hightstown Women's Club, loved to play cards with her sisters-in-law and enjoyed shopping with her best friends.  Linda looked forward to her summers spent in Maine on East Grand Lake with her family, many cousins and good friends.

Daughter of the late George and Garnella Osgood, she was predeceased by her son George ""Mark"" Fischer. Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, George Fischer; daughter and son-in-law Lois and Peter Berg of New Egypt; grandson Alan Berg; sisters-in-law Margaret Koury of Howell, Blanche Hallock of New Egypt, Rita Durner and her husband Ed of Cranbury, Annette Murphy and her husband Dick of Cranbury, Jean Fischer and her husband George Sipars of Allentown; uncle John Edmunds of Towaco, NJ;  treasured friends Charlotte and Herbie Conover of Hightstown; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm on Tuesday, January 4 ^th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  Chaplin Ted Taylor will officiate.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday from 12pm until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
