Linda Gandy Dickerson, 82, of Brick, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024. Born in Troy, NC. She grew up in northern Virginia before moving to Germany, with her oldest sister and brother-in-law, where she met her husband, Walter. She resided in Brick, NJ for most of her married life and was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. A devoted wife and mother, Linda took great care of her home and family. She volunteered in the Brick Township school system and with the Ocean County Board of Elections and worked as a sales associate and receptionist at a number of local businesses. She was an avid antique collector and enjoyed oil painting and making stained glass pieces.

Daughter of the late Roger and Pansy Gandy, Linda was predeceased in February by her husband of 61 years, Walter E. Dickerson Jr. She was also predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Noel Windsor, with whom she lived with for several years; her sister Carol and brother-in-law Gene Dixon, and her brother-in-law Ronald Coffee. Linda is survived by her two sons, Walter Dickerson, III and his fiancée, Norma Castro and Steven Dickerson and his wife, Diane; her grandchildren, Kevin, Amanda, and Mya Dickerson; her sister, Jane Coffee; and her sister/niece, Cynthia Enax and brother/nephew, Noel Glenn Windsor.

A viewing will be held Thursday, November 21st from 6-8pm and again Friday, November 22nd from 10am-11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. A Funeral Service will be held 11am on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
