Linda E. Buxton, 77, of Hightstown, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at RWJ Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Jersey City, she was a Hightstown High School graduate and attended Middlesex County College. Linda was a secretary at Carter Wallace for 25 years before retiring in 1997 and was a member of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church in Cassville and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Township Fire Company. Linda loved to travel and go "cruising ", having been on 43 cruises throughout her life. She loved to clean and keep a tidy house, but mostly love to spend time with her family and friends.

Daughter of the late Peter and Mary Bihuniak, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Carol Ann Buxton. Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edmund Buxton; her sister and brother-in-law, Georgette and Howard McLaughlin; her brother-in-law, Charles Buxton; her niece, Rebecca Holman; her nephew, Christopher McLaughlin; her great niece and nephew, Kaitlyn and Thomas as well as several cousins and extended family.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 27th from 12 noon to 1 PM, with prayers beginning around 12:45 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Old Tenant Cemetery in Manalapan.
