Lillian Maud Bottrel, 89, of Flemington, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington. Born on June 14, 1922 in Jersey Channel Isle, Great Britain, Lillian enjoyed all family gatherings, reading and cooking. She also liked going to ""Tricky Trays"", playing the lottery and reading the Fisher Paper.
Daughter of the late Edward and Maud Renouf, she was predeceased by her husband, Louis James Bottrel; she is survived by her six children, Michael Bottrel, Pamela Wood, Valerie Mitala, Louis Bottrel and his wife Milly, Graham Bottrel and his wife Diane and Edward Bottrel and his wife Emily; two sisters, Phyllis and Olga Renouf; a brother Edward Renouf; three sisters-in-law, Elise Renouf, Rosemary Sapp and Gladys Renouf, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Saturday, April 28 th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Road, Allentown. Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call, Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005 Boston, MA. 02241-7005.
