Leslie H. ""Les"" Osborn, 87, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at
He owned and operated Osborn's Poultry Farm in Cream Ridge, which was the first fully integrated Poultry Farm in NJ. Les also owned and operated the Charter Boat ""Little Chic"" and was the longest actively licensed charter boat captain on the east coast. He was a past president of the State Poultry Association and the Upper Freehold Regional School Board. He was an innovator of no-till farming and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Son of the late George and Mary Osborn, he is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Evelyn Osborn, his son and daughter-in-law; Richard and Deborah Osborn of Cream Ridge, his daughter and son-in-law; Terri and David Tindall of Robbinsville, five grandchildren; Beverly Gallant and her husband Kevin, Michele French and her husband Jim, Samantha Barry and her husband Kevin, Alison and Nathan Tindall, four great-grandchildren; Hudson, David, Savannah and Dana, their grandmother Joan Osborn, several nieces and nephews, and his loyal dog ""Snickers"". He was predeceased by his brothers, Bill and George Osborn and his sister, Ruth Lincoln.
