Leonardo Coppola, 36, of Allentown, passed away as a true hero Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Melbourne, Fl. Born and raised in Monte di Procida (Napoli) Italia, he moved with his family to the US when he was 9 and to Allentown in 2006. Leonardo had a bright smile that could light up a room and loved being with people. Leonardo was dedicated to his craft and was an amazing chef and restaurateur. An avid Italian National & Napoli soccer fan, he was a member of St. John's R.C. Church in Allentown, the Italian American Society of Mercer County, and had a passion for Italian sports cars. Above all, Leonardo was an extremely generous, loving and caring man. Leonardo was devoted to his wife, beautiful son, mother, father and sisters...a true hero.

Leonardo is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly A. Coppola; his son whom he adored, Nicodemo Coppola; his father, Guiseppe Coppola; his mother, Tina Gallo; his sisters and brother-in-law, Monica and Erland Landa and Marcella Coppola; his parents-in-law, William and Nancy Begley; his sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law, Janine and Jeff Fong and Dana Begley; his nieces and nephews, Luca and Luciana Landa and Jessica and Jeffrey Fong; his great grandparents-in-law Ernesto and Anna as well as a large family of many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, Godchildren and friends, both in the US and Italia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Monday, January 26th at St. John's R.C. Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-7pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Leonardo's eight year old son may be made payable to Ameriprise Financial, 2300 East Lincoln Hwy, Suite 705 Langhorne, PA 19047.
