Leo G. Pado, 82, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 7, 2020 with his family by his side. Born in South River, NJ he had lived in North Brunswick for 28 years prior to moving to Brick, NJ and finally Allentown for the last 15 years. Leo was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and was an auto mechanic, carpenter and worked at his son's heating and air-conditioning company. His passion was antique cars and boating. He was a member of the Jersey Cruise and Classic Car Club and a member of St. John's Church in Allentown, NJ. Leo's family was very important to him and he will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by his parents: Leo and Lottie Pado, he is survived by his beloved wife of 62 ½ years: Gloria Pado (Parillo) his sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas L. and Lisa Pado of Millstone and Kenneth L. and Darlene Pado of Palm Coast, FL. His sister: Ann Zawtocki of Canton, GA and grandchildren: Bryanna, Tommy Jr., Joseph and Anthony Pado and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday, March 10 at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Allentown Rd, Allentown, NJ. A gathering will be held after the mass in the church hall followed by entombment at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8516. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, NJ.
