Obituary

Lee J. Hannon, 74, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009, at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Allentown, he had moved to Trenton in 1945. He was a former professional motorcycle racer and was employed by Liberty Toyota in Burlington as Project Manager for many years. Lee was a former member of the Hamilton Elks Lodge #2262 BPOE and the Ancient Order of Hibernians HOH #1. He was an avid golfer and stock car racing fan.

Son of the late Edward A. and Mary A. Cummings Hannon, brother of the late Mary Taylor and Claire Tomlinson and Uncle to the late Karen A. Rooks, he is survived by a beloved niece, Patricia Wilkinson and her husband William of Yardville, a nephew Russell Tomlinson and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Thursday, April 23, at St. Johns Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening 6 to 8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital, 200 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015
