Lavern Janes, 85 of Monroe Twp. passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at Wynwood at Forsgate.  Born in Sayreville, she resided there for most of her life.  Lavern worked in the Admitting office of St. Peter's Hospital for many years.

Lavern is survived by her husband of 65 years, Milton Janes; three sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Karen, Barry and MaryAnn and Thomas and Patricia; four grandchildren, Amy, Stephen, Daniel and David and a sister, Joan Brown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 am on Friday, June 10 ^th at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Hightstown.  Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.  Friends may call Thursday from 3-5pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
