L.Joan Carslake , 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her home in columbus, NJ. Born in Red Bank, NJ, she had been a resident in and around the Bordentown area all her life. She was a retired secretary for the AASR Scottish Rite. Joan was a member of the Bordentown Chapter 257 O.E.S. for over 66 years and was a Past Matron of the Chapter in 1958. She was also a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bordentown. Joan was very active with her friends and in the community and will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by her parents: John Dougherty and Laurabelle Hendricks, her brother Jay R. Dougherty and her beloved husband Robert B. Carslake, she is survived by her brother-in-law: Joseph R Carslake and his wife Nancy S of Norriton, PA. Several nieces and nephews in including, Brenda Carslake and cousins which includes Sharon Jacobs.

A Memorial Service celebrating Joan's life will be held 11 am Saturday, March 27 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call from 10 am until time of service.
