Kevin A. Pillar, 56, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at his home of 28 years. Born in Perth Amboy, Kevin worked as a roofer for Local 30 and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and walking in the woods. He was very active with St. John the Baptist Church in Allentown. Kevin was an extremely hard worker in everything he did and was fair and kind. Above all, Kevin was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather who made spending time with his family and loved ones a priority his entire life.

Son of the late George and Doris Pillar, he is survived by his loving wife, Maria; his children whom he adored, Tracie Corbett and her husband, Dan, Andrew Pillar and his wife, Laura, Daniella Pillar, Desireé Pillar and Thomas Pillar; his grandchildren, Layna, Andrew, Katerina and Joy as well as many siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon on Friday, November 3rd at St. John the Baptist Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7pm at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown and again Friday at St. John the Baptist Church from 11am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist R.C. Church.
