Kermit Wardlow, 79, died Wednesday at the Masonic Home of New Jersey, in Burlington. Born in Elizabeth, NJ he had lived in Clifton, NJ, before moving to the home a year ago. He was a WWII Air Force and Navy Veteran and a retired mail carrier for The US Post Office of Passaic, NJ. He was a member of the Clifton Lodge # 203 F & AM, the Tall Cedars of Lebanon and the Peace Chapter #98 of the Eastern Star. Kermit was also a member of the Richfield Reformed Church of Clifton, the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans and the First Presbyterian Church of Clifton Couples Club. He enjoyed American Revolution history, Williamsburg, VA. the Mets and Giants.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Mardelle, a step-daughter; Kim Tolosi and her husband Michael of Blairstown, NJ, three grandchildren; Michael, Anthony and Katlyn and a brother; John Wardlow.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, 2:30 pm at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ. Masonic services will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
