Obituary

Kenneth Edward Ryba, 74, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at his home with his daughters by his side. Born November 11, 1947 in Trenton. He attended Allentown High School. Kenny proudly served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. During his honorable service, he earned 2 Purple Hearts and numerous other merits. He resided in Cream Ridge for most of his life before moving to Whiting. Kenny spent many years helping on his family's small farm and worked at many local standardbred horse farms throughout Monmouth County. Kenny loved his time working with the horses. In 1983 he began his career as a Postman for the United States Postal service.  He retired in April 2013 with more than 29 years of service. He was a life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He was a member of the Allentown United Methodist Church, where he was an Usher for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending the day at the beach and riding his bike in Cape May.

Son of the late George and Pauline Ryba, he was predeceased by his brother, Harry Ryba and his grandsons, Michael Vincent Mastellone and Vincent Joseph Gallucci. Kenneth is survived by his two daughters and their husbands, Sandy and John Gallucci and Amber and Louis Mastellone; his grandchildren, Mark Kenneth Mastellone, Gianna Michaela Mastellone, Valerie Marie Gallucci and Dominic Charles Gallucci; his siblings and their spouses, George and Emily Ryba, Richard and Judy Ryba, Mary Jane and Jack Barnes, his sister-in-law, Donna Ryba, and many nieces and nephews.

A private burial service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
