Kenneth B. LaTourette, 93, passed away Tuesday, March 25 at Concord Healthcare in Lakewood, NJ. Born in Wertsville, NJ, he was a resident of Bordentown for over 50 years. He was a retired Major, US Army Veteran of 22 years, having served in WWII, in North Africa and Italy and later in the Korean Conflict. Kenneth received the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the WWII Victory Medal and various other military honors.

Following his military career, he worked as a program manager for the State of New Jersey in the Civil Defense field. He was an active member of The Order of the Purple Heart; The American Legion; The Veterans of Foreign Wars; The Retired Officers' Association (TROA); and The First Armored Division Association.

Son of the late Andrew and Inez (neeBrewer) LaTourette, brother of the late Linden LaTourette and brother-in-law to the late Angeline LaTourette, he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary LaTourette (nee McCoy), his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Raymond blinn of Columbus, his grandchildren, Kenneth R. Blinn and his wife Jeannette of Marlton and Christine E. Blinn of Blacksburg, VA., his great grandson, Sebastian A. Blinn. A sister Marian Allen of Taylors, SC, a sister-in-law, Jean McCoy of El Macero CA. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. Wm C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call 10 am until time of service Wednesday morning.
