Kenneth Deak

Kenneth Deak, age 83, of Franklin Park, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026. He was born in Perth Amboy and graduated from Woodbridge High School. He served honorably in the United States Navy and had a distinguished career as an engineer, working for Burroughs Corporation for 19 years. Ken had a passion for innovation, frequently engaging in repairs and improvements. He was also known for his culinary abilities, his enthusiasm for automobiles, and his membership with the Corvette Club. He attended Princeton Alliance Church and enjoyed trips to the beach, particularly his time in Siesta Key, Florida.

Son of the late Stephen and Anne Deak he was predeceased by his son, Joe Deak and his brother, Ronald Deak. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Balerno and her husband, Derek; his son, Jimmy Deak and his wife, Tara; his daughter-in-law, Anne Luck-Deak; his grandchildren, Bella, Ryan, and Jackson Balerno, Kenneth, Tyler, and Dante Deak and Domani Deak; his brother, Stephen Deak and his sister, Anne Vonderheide.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 17 at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of service.
