Keith L. Hilbert, Sr. , 79 of Columbus, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden. Born in Kingston, PA, he grew up in Kunkle, PA before moving to the Bordentown area in the 1950's.  A graduate of Bordentown High School, Keith was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He worked for Kenworth for several years before working for Haines Towing Service and later retiring as a supervisor for Atlantic Express after 25 years of service.

A talented woodworker, Keith loved to spend his time tinkering in his garage and yard.  He was a hard worker who loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Predeceased in February by his high school sweetheart and wife of 57 years, Marlene Hilbert and his parents Paul and Lois Hilbert (nee Landon); he is survived by his four sons and two daughters-in-law, Keith L. Hilbert, Jr., Kevin G. Hilbert, Kyle J. and Tina Hilbert and Eric P. and Kelly Hilbert; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Charlotte and Eric Jr.; his sisters and brother-in-law, Janice and LeRoy Jobes and Shelia McCormick; his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Kathleen Hilbert as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 12pm on Wednesday, January 23 ^rd at the Peppler Funeral Home, 112 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.  Friends may call Wednesday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Twp.
