Kathleen M. Mohl, 63, of Yardley, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Born in New York City, she was raised in Fairlawn, NJ. Kathy resided in Hightstown for several years where she was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She later moved to New Egypt, where she taught CCD at The Church of the Assumption. Kathy and her husband most recently resided in Yardley, PA for the past 30 years. Kathy had a passion for helping others, and in 1999 she went back to school to earn her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Mansfield University. She then worked as a Registered Nurse for Guthrie Hospital. Above all, Kathy loved her family and was a caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Daughter of the late William and Violet Lutz; she was predeceased by her son, Billy Mohl and her parents-in-law, John and Betty Mohl. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Mitchell Mohl; her daughter and son-in-law, Marianne and Jim Daily of Yardley; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Megan Mohl of Holland, PA; her grandchildren, James and Billy Daily and Andrew and William Mohl; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Patricia Lutz of Rochester, NY; her sister Mary Bordeaux of Fairlawn, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 28th at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown, NJ. Friends may call Monday, June 27th from 6 to 8 PM at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
