Karlis "Karl" Liepins III, 37, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at his home. Born in Princeton, he was a graduate of Steinert High School. Karl was a huge car enthusiast and loved trains. He enjoyed reading, building models, watching history documentaries and was a big movie buff. But most of all he loves spending time with his family.

Grandson of the late Robert S. Letson, Jr., Karl was predeceased by his mother in 2017, Margaret Liepins.  This was especially hard for Karl in that he adored his mother with whom he was especially close and shared a very tight bond.  Karl never really recovered after losing her.

Karl is survived by his father, Karlis "Charlie" Liepins, Jr.; his brother, Brandon S. Liepins; his grandmother, Joanne Letson; his aunts and uncles, Sharyn and Timmy Downey, Dotty Raymond, Robert Letson III, John Letson, Ben Letson and Tommy and Trish Letson; his cousins, TJ and Jennifer Downey, Robert, Billy, Jamie and Christi Raymond, Elise, Shana, Hope, Kelly, Maxwell and Tyler Letson, as well as many extended family and loving friends.

A viewing will be held Monday, October 7th from 4 - 7pm at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St., Allentown. A memorial service will be held 11am on Wednesday, October 9th at the Union Church of Seaside Park, 47 4th Avenue, Seaside Park, NJ 08752. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
