Karen Marie Soles, 59, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she lived in Robbinsville, before moving to Hamilton 30 years ago. She was a graduate of Allentown High School Class of 1975. Karen was a very good athlete and lettered in Basketball and Softball. Her career spanned 36 years working for the State of New Jersey in The Office of information Technology as a Data Process Systems Programmer. Karen was an umpire with the South Trenton Little League, a coach for New Egypt Girls Softball, a catechist at St. Anthony's in Trenton and was very active in her nieces' and nephews' lives. She was the ultimate fan of her nieces and nephews, and would travel with them around the country to support them in their athletic careers. She treated them all as if they were her own children. Her passion and zeal for sports was a big part of the reason for their successes on and off the field. Her other passion in life was her love for animals and her beloved four legged children, Riley, Daly and Bridy. Her unconditional love for her dogs was evident to anyone who knew her. Karen enjoyed traveling the world, especially St. Marteen where she vacationed in the winter with her parents, and friends. She enjoyed the beach no matter where it was and she loved music, especially classic Rock n Roll. Karen was also passionate about photography as well as being an avid reader. She was a very strong independent charitable woman who tackled life's challenges in her own way. She was loved by all who knew her.
