Karen C. Currin, 73, of Jacobstown, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023.  Born in Staten Island, she resided in Jacobstown for over 50 years.  Karen retired in 2012 from Ft. Dix where she worked for many years.  She was an avid reader, and her favorite times were those spent with her grandchildren. Karen had a great love for all animals, especially her cats and grand-dogs. Most of all, Karen was devoted to her family. She was a caring and generous mother and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth Hook, she is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Thomas G. Currin; her children and their spouses, Christopher and Kyle Hook and Jennifer and Alex Bua; her grandchildren, Owen and Arden Hook and Grace and Olivia Bua; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and April Hook, Kenny and Jennifer Hook, and Keith and Deb Hook; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation with the family will be held Saturday, October 7th from 11-1pm, with a funeral service beginning at 1pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ.  Inurnment will be private.
