Karadina Prather, 62 was born on May 2, 1957 in Newark, New Jersey. She was the third child born to the late Cardie Brown and Constance D. Prather. Karadina departed this life August 28, 2019 with her two loving sons by her side.

Karadina was a longtime resident of Bordentown and attended the Bordentown Regional High School; after graduation in 1976, she attended Trenton State College. Karadina became a Department of Defense employee in 1982, working at the McGuire AFB Commissary and retired from the Picatinny Army Depot with 35 years of dedicated service.

Karadina leaves to mourn, her two sons, Marquice D. and Marlon D. Prather, both of Bordentown, brothers Reginald and Jerald Prather, two sisters Jeretha C. Prather and Towana-Lynn Jones (Cedric), one grandson Michael J. Prather, her dear friends Diane Freemen-Westcott and sister-in-law, Pam Prather, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday September 3, 2019 at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, NJ. Friends may call from 10:00 am to time of service.
