June Renee Gazek-Harris, 54, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, with her loving family by her side. Born in Scranton, June was raised in Linden, NJ, had lived in Robbinsville and finally Roebling, NJ. She graduated Kean University, was a sister with Lamda Chi Rho Sorority and received a bachelor's in Geology and worked for the State of New Jersey in the Department of Environmental Protection. June was very active in her community. She was the shop steward at the CWA local #1036, a founding member and VP of Public Relations of NJDEP Toastmasters, a member of the Florence Township Democratic Party, a licensed geologist for the State of New Jersey, and a realtor for Mercer and the surrounding counties. She was always the most loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. June will be missed by everyone that had the great fortune to have met her.
Predeceased by her parents Paul and Adele Gazek. June is survived by her beloved husband of 15 years, David Harris and their daughter Rebekah Harris of Roebling. She is also survived by her sisters; Sharyn Calcavecchio of Hunterdon County, and Laurie Licamara and her husband, Anthony, of Point Pleasant, NJ, as well as nieces and nephews Antonina, Gabriella, Angelo Paul, Giancarlo, Adelyn and Lucille.
A Funeral Service will be held for June at 12pm on Thursday, September 24 th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Family and friends may call from 10am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Twp. Funeral Services are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
