Judy R. Harrison, 72, of Bordentown, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in Ewing, she was a longtime Bordentown resident. Judy retired from Bell Atlantic after 38 years of service. She had a passion for horses and was a member of the National Appaloosa Horse Club for 53 years. Judy was a life member of the Garden State Appaloosa Club since its inception and also served as director. She was a life member of Delaware Appaloosa Club, a life member of the Delaware Valley Horse Association and was on the NJ Equine Advisory Board. Judy also served on the Environmental Commission of Mansfield Township and was a trustee for the Crafts Creek/Springhill Brook Watershed Association.
Daughter of the late Harry and Mildred Richard, she is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert J. Harrison; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bob Richard of Sykesville; MD and Jim and Pam Richard of Manchester, VT as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1pm on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Friends may call from 12 pm until the time of services.
