Obituary

Judith D. Hoffman of Fieldsboro passed away suddenly while visiting family in the West Palm Beach Florida area. She was 74. Born in Trenton, she was a longtime Fieldsboro resident and resided with her daughter at the time of her death. Judy had worked as a supervisor for Waterbury Products in Hightstown for many years and also as a dispatcher for New England Retail Express. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, crocheting and she was an active member of the Bordentown Seniors "Golden Years Luncheon Club". She was a kind and loving woman who was loved by all who knew her.

Daughter of the late Lewis and Mildred Newman, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Kirk Garey Jr.; and seven siblings.

Wife of 53 years of the late Pierre "Ron Hoffman, Judy is survived by her children, Donald and Michelle Hoffman of Delray Beach, Fla., Angela Garey of Roebling, and Jack and Mary Hoffman of Fieldsboro; her grandchildren, Kyle Garey of Levittown, PA, Caitlin Hoffman of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; Taylor and Christian Hoffman of Delray Beach, Fla.; Matthew and Emma Hoffman of Fieldsboro, and Jasmine Walton of Baltimore, Md.; her siblings, Myrtle Thomas of Reston, VA; Robert Newman of Alpine, Ala; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held at noon Saturday, April 12, at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, where friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Holy Assumption Cemetery in Roebling at the convenience of the family.
