Josephine Theresa Ellis , 91, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Los Angeles, CA she had lived most of her life in the Bordentown area. She belonged to the Bordentown Township Senior Citizens and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bordentown.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley "Reds" Ellis, she is survived by her three sons: Ricky Ellis and Maurice Smith and Randy Ellis all of Bordentown City and Todd Ellis and Norean Porter of Ewing Township. Her daughter: April Lippert and her husband Paul of Jackson and her grandchildren: Kaity and Nikki Cochran.

Services will be 11 am Friday, January 22 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Jacobstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hose Humane Co. No.1, 150 W. Burlington St, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
