Josephine M. Asson , 91, passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly Township, with her family by her side. Born in Burlington, NJ she had lived in Bordentown City most of her life. Josephine retired from Monsanto in Yardville, was an avid walker, reader and enjoyed weekly trips to Atlantic City.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Kermit S. Asson, and her sons: Michael and Kermit Asson, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and William Pigott of Burlington, her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Asson of Bordentown. Her grandchildren: Janine Conti (Louis), Joshua Asson (Darien), Matthew Asson (Michelle) and Sarah Asson. Her great-grandchildren: Conrad, Alex, Mikkael, Anthony, Dina and Brielle and many nieces nephews and cousins and dear friend Barbara Sheehan.

A gathering to celebrate Josephine's life will be held Friday, January 12 from 11 am to 12 pm with burial immediately following in Bordentown cemetery, Bordentown Township. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.
