Joseph F. Pellecchia Jr, 78, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at Princeton Care Center, Princeton, NJ.  Born in East Orange, NJ, he resided in Allentown for nearly 50 years.  Joseph worked at Bristol Myers Squibb for over 30 years until he retired.  Joseph was a political advocate for many years and contributed to many political, religious, military, and Native American organizations.   His hobbies included rose gardening, bird watching and maintaining freshwater aquariums. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton Square where he and his granddaughter volunteered at the carnival for several years.

Son of the late Joseph and Ann Pellecchia, and brother of the late John Pellecchia, he was predeceased in March by his wife of 52 years, Barbara A. Pellecchia; Joseph is survived by his siblings Robert, Frank, Chris, and Peter Pellecchia; his son, Joseph and wife Susan, and his granddaughters, Valerie and Ellie.

A viewing will be held Monday, September 19 ^th from 6-8pm at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd, Allentown. Interment will follow in the Allentown Methodist Cemetery.

A repast will follow the burial at 5 Coates Rd., Allentown.
