Joseph L. Nicola, 78, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2025. Born in Norristown, PA, he was US Navy veteran, serving in Vietnam. Joseph owned and operated Nicola's Donut Shop. In his free time, he enjoyed cruises with his late wife Kathleen, great Italian food and listening to Frank Sinatra.

Son of the late Mary and John Palonicola, he was predeceased in 2018 by his loving wife, Kathleen M. Nicola. Joseph is survived by his brother, John M. Nicola, and sister, Rita Marie Chiccino, along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Burial will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
