Joseph T. Hayes, age 80, passed away on Feb. 1st at Samaritan Hospice, Mount Holly, NJ.
Born in Albany, N.Y. he resided in Robbinsville for 45 years. He served in the Army Air Corps. during WWII as a Bomber Pilot. Joseph was a member of the Washington Volunteer Fire Dept. in Robbinsville and belonged to Hightstown Lodge #41 of F&AM.
Beloved husband of Mary Dey Hayes; loving father of three sons, David J of Allentown and his fiancé, Jaime Carlisle of Moorestown, James J. and Jeannie of Robbinsville, Thomas J. and Joanne of West Freehold; Three daughters, Margaret J. of Hamilton and her partner Patti Perez, Mary Jo and Daryl Donnell of Bordentown, Melissa and Bruce Lyon of Hamilton; Two brothers, William and Pat Hayes, John and Carol Hayes, both of Schaghticoke, NY; and Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. S. Perrine and Elizabeth Dey, both of Allentown; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to: Samaritan Hospice Center, Development Office, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
