Obituary

Joseph C. Czap, 82, of Yardville died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, he had been a resident of Hamilton Township most of his life. He was a US Marine Corp Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was twice a recipient of the Purple Heart and other decorations during his time of service. He was employed as a Color Chemist for Stauffer Chemical of Yardville for 26 years and retired from the Hamilton Township Board of Education with 10 years of service. Joseph was a member of the American Legion, the Freehold Deer Club and the Hungarian Reformed Church.

He is survived by his wife, Connie L. Czap (nee Dement), his son and daughter-in-law: Joseph C. Jr and Claudia Czap of Cary, NC, two daughters and a son-in-law: Donna and Robert Sutton of Hamilton and Connie Busz of North Hanover Township. A brother and sister-in-law: Ronald and Cookie Czap of Yardville and six grandchildren: Mariah, McKenna, Robert Jr, Jennifer, Daniel and Michael.

Funeral Services will be 12 noon Tuesday, November 11 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton Township. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, National Council of the United States, 58 Progress Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO 63043-3706.
