Joseph Lyndon Colby, 71, of Bordentown, NJ passed away on September 17, 2023. Born in Huntington, PA and lived most of his life in Ewing NJ area.  He worked at General Motors in Ewing, NJ for 24 years and also served as a Committeeman and was a member of the Local #731 United Autoworker's of America. Joe and his wife were avid fans of bowling, the Yankees, and NASCAR.  He is predeceased by his wife Patricia M. Colby, stepson John Baez, mother Fay Colby Dubell and his grandparents who raised him Rev. Lyndon L. and Beulah B. Colby.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Colby of Wrightstown, NJ, and son John Colby (Mechelle) of Tucson, AZ, sister Marjorie Parkin of FL, brothers Roger Dubell, Arthur Dubell, and Wayne Dubell, all of NJ. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law & brother-in-law Linda and Bob DiMaggio of Hamilton Square, NJ, and his loyal kitty companions, Chassi and Lacy.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Peppler Funeral Home in Bordentown NJ and will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Bordentown, NJ and Pet Memorial Park in Hamilton, NJ.
