Bud" Ceremsak

It is with profound sadness that the family of Joseph "Bud" Ceremsak announce his passing on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the age of 84, after a brief illness. Bud resided with his wife Joan in Allentown, NJ and Highland Beach, Fl.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, John and ethel Renyo Ceremsak; two brothers, Dr. Robert Ceremsak and Rev. Laurent Ceremsak, OFM. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan Carroll Ceremsak; four daughters, Mary Laney and her husband Charles, Jean Mulrine and her husband Sean, Amy Sanchez and her husband Joseph and Sara Kim and her husband Theodore and his brother, Thomas Ceremsak and his wife June. He was a loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren, Austin, Shay, Aubrey and Brook Laney, Daniel, Conor, Evelyn and Lillian Mulrine, Megan Mulrine Saukulak and her husband Michael, Mark Sanchez, Paige Sanchez Holmes, Ryan and Beau Holmes, Ted, Anise, Suzanna and Graham Kim and his brother, Thomas Ceremsak and his wife June.
Bud was a graduate of Trenton Catholic Boys High School and St. Joseph's University where he played varsity baseball and basketball. He earned graduate degrees from St. Joseph's University, Villanova University and Trenton State College. Bud was a history teacher and basketball coach at Holy Cross High School and later at Rancocas Valley Regional High School for 35 years. After his retirement, he was an Adjunct Professor at Burlington County Community College.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd. Allentown. Friends may pay their respects at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown from 9-10:45am. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, kindly make contributions to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
