Joseph G. Bokey, 94, of Yardville, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2020 at his home. Born in St. Marys, PA; he grew up in Allentown, NJ and moved to Hamilton Twp. after he married, where he resided for 70 years. Joseph was a WWII Army veteran and worked for Thermoid Rubber in Trenton and later retired as a welder from Trane Corporation in 1989. He enjoyed gardening, camping and woodworking.

Son of the late Barney and Sophie Bokey, he was predeceased by his siblings, Frank, Mike, John, Agnes, and Helen and in 2013 by his wife, Jennie Bokey. Joseph is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven J. and Sheryl Bokey of Englishtown and Alan M. and Rhonda Bokey of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Bryan Bokey and his wife, Jillian of Reisterstown, MD, Chelsey Carney and her husband, Dale of Yardville, Matthew Bokey of Manahawkin and Ashley Bokey of Hamilton; his great grandson, Hudson as well as several nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, services will be private with a burial in St. John the Baptist, RC Cemetery in Allentown. Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to the Disabled American Veterans at DAV Department of New Jersey, 171 Jersey St, Bldg 5 2nd Fl, Trenton NJ 08611.
