John F. Tatter, Jr., 78, of Yardville, passed away Thursday, September 17th at Capital Health Systems, Mercer. Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime Hamilton area resident. A graduate of Trenton High School, John was a US Army Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict and later retired from Hill Refrigeration in Trenton where he worked for over 40 years.

Son of the late John F. and Margaret Tatter, he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Irene Tatter; two children, John F. Tatter, III and his wife Marsha of Bayville and Mary-Margaret Pannick and her husband Frank of Cream Ridge, three grandchildren, Cassandra, Andrew and Olivia Tatter; a brother George Tatter of California as well as several nieces.

Services were private at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emley's Hill Maintenance and Preservation Fund, 209 Crosswicks-Ellisdale Rd., Chesterfield, NJ 08515.
