John C. Soden , 58, passed away suddenly on Sunday September 8, 2024 at his home in Bordentown City. Born in Trenton, he was raised in North Trenton, was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and received a bachelor's degree from Trenton State College. He had worked for the Department of Corrections and retired as a probation officer. John enjoyed weightlifting and at one time was named Mr. Trenton. He liked hunting with his father and enjoyed a good meal with good food.

Predeceased by his parents John and Josephine Soden and cousins Joseph and Jack Stolarz he is survived by his close dear companion Valerie Wright, his cousins Joan Pylypiak and Bruce Lomonaco and many friends.

A graveside service for John will be held 11 am Monday, September 16 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Cemetery Lane, Bordentown Township, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.

You loved to talk. You made me laugh, we laughed at the silly things in life.

Your friendship and loyalty was unique. You were very intelligent and had a generous heart.

I truly wished the best for you and I know you always did for me.

I will keep all the happy memories tucked away in my heart.

Forever Rest now my true friend, God Bless your Soul.
