John M. Rosenkranz, Sr. passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Brooklyn, John was a US Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He worked for ETS for several years and retired from his eCommerce business. He enjoyed spending time in the yard, gardening. John was also a talented handyman who was always fixing things and especially liked working on old cars and loved music.

Son of the late Gerard and Margaret Rosenkranz, he was predeceased by his brother, Thomas and his niece, Sarah. John is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 39 years, Sharon E. Rosenkranz; his son, Johnny Rosenkranz; his siblings, Geraldine Chernowetz, James Rosenkranz and his wife, Melanie and Gina Coeby; his mother-in-law, Lillian Mierau, brother-in-law, Danny Ward and special sister-in-law, Maureen Rosenkranz as well as several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Funeral service will be held 10am on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
