John Richmond, 72, of New Egypt passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family. Born in Freehold, he grew up in Imlaystown and resided there until he moved to New Egypt, 25 years ago. John worked with his family business; Richmond Moving Company located in Imlaystown for many years. He enjoyed working around the house and was an avid sports fan, especially the Steelers. John loved his annual trips with family and friend to Lake Vanare in New York and was a devoted husband and father and loved his grandsons.

Son of the late George and Agnes Richmond, he was predeceased in July of 2019 by his loving wife of 49 years, Susan Perry Richmond. John was also predeceased by his brother, Philip Richmond, and his father-in-law. Clifton Perry. He is survived by his children, Veronica Sedgwick and her husband Lee of Morgantown, PA, Philip Richmond of New Egypt and Victoria Evans and her husband Robert of New Egypt; his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Nathan: his brother, Richard Richmond; his mother-in-law, Mary Jane Perry; his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cliff and Mary Perry and Stacie Perry as well as many nieces, nephews and friends that he considered family.

A viewing (limited occupancy) will be held Saturday, July 11 ^th from 4-7pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Face coverings and social distancing are required.
