John P. Patarcsity, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, he was a graduate of William MacFarland High School and was a long-time resident of the Bordentown Community. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of Philadelphia. John went on to own and operate the Parkside Inn Family Restaurant in Bordentown and finally retired from the Trenton Board of Education. He was an avid golfer and member of the Peddie Golf Club for many years and was also a past member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085 of Bordentown.

Predeceased by his parents Mathias and Mary Patarcsity, his brother Ernest Patarcsity and his beloved wife of 62 years, Adeline "Dolly" Patarcsity, he is survived by his children: David Patarcsity of Desert Hot Springs, CA and Susan Patarcsity of Bordentown, his sister-in-law, Concetta "Connie" Venanzi of Trenton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Wednesday, February 1, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township, NJ. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10 am to 11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
