John E. Ocker, 73, passed away suddenly at Cooper Medical Center in Camden with his family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was raised in Crosswicks, NJ. His family owned and operated Ocker’s Barrel which was a well known to the area. John was a graduate of Steinert High School and retired from Hearthside Food Solutions. He was a NASCAR and New York Giant fan and will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Helen Ocker and his daughter Rebecca Lynn Ervin, he is survived by his beloved partner of over 30 years, Cindy Rondeau of Beverly, NJ. His brother Frank J. Ocker and his husband Edd Leonard of Hamilton, NJ. Three grandchildren: Bryan Martens, Ellyssa and Kenneth Ervin. A dear relative, Raeann and a close friend Becky Sue Steele, her husband Mike and their children: John and Kelly.

A celebration of John’s life will be held Thursday, October 29th from 5 to 7 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in John’s memory to a charity of the donors choice.
