John C. Miller, 70, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Hamilton. Born in Somerville, John resided in Flemington and Ringoes for many years prior to moving to Allentown 11 years ago. A graduate of Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, he was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. John worked for Burger's Motorcycle Sales and Service in Three Bridges, NJ for several years and later retired in 2005 from Scientific Instrument Services in Ringoes. He was a member of the Flemington Elks Lodge # 1928 where he formerly served as secretary and was very active in his Four Seasons Community in Allentown serving on the Grounds Committee and was the weekly calendar coordinator. He enjoyed playing golf; was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Son of the late Charles and Dorothy Miller, he is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Elaine Miller; his brother and sister-in-law, Karl and Marie Miller and his nephew Richard Miller and his wife Leigh Ann.

A visitation in Allentown will be held Monday, June 6th from 2-4pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St., Allentown. A visitation in Flemington will be held Tuesday June 7th at 10am followed by a funeral service at 11am at Wright and Ford Family Funeral Home, 38 State Hwy 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.
