John A. McLaughlin Jr, 64, passed away suddenly on June 21, 2017 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Trenton, he had lived in Mount Holly for many years prior to moving to Florence 14 years ago. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War and was known as a "Jack of all Trades" having worked in maintenance, as a painter and in landscaping. He enjoyed life and was a real "jokester", "seriously".
Predeceased by his parents, John McLaughlin Sr and Edith Dansbury, his second wife Carol Webb McLaughlin and fiancé, Kimberley Odri, he is survived by his children: Judy, Robert, Kathleen, Mariea, Jennifer, John III, Sarah and Brianna, his two brothers, Carl and Bobby McLaughlin, six grandchildren, his first wife Rosemarie Gilbert, Donna and his girlfriend Darlene.
Services will be 8 pm Wednesday, June 28 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call from 6 pm until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of John A. McLaughlin.
