John E. Main, 66, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Jefferson Hospital in Stratford, NJ. Born in Woodbury, NJ he had lived in Columbus, NJ for 10 years prior to moving to Hedding over 32 years ago. He worked as a Hospital Administrator for Ann Klein Forensic Center before his retirement in 2012. John enjoyed hiking, bicycling, kayaking and traveling, was a sports car enthusiast and an avid Eagles fan.

Predeceased by his parents: Harold and Flora Main, he is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years: Nancy Main (Mount) and his sons: John and Ethan Main. Four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Carol Ford, Joanne Pruitt and her husband Edward, Jane Purvis and her husband Lenny and Bonnie Steen and her husband Jack as well as many dear friends.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 pm Sunday, January 26 with services beginning at 4pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pinelands Preservation Alliance, 17 Pemberton Road, Southampton, NJ 08088.
