John Michael Hamon, Jr., 28, of Allentown, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at The University of Pennsylvania. Born in Trenton, he resided in Allentown for most of his life. An Allentown High School and Mercer County Community College graduate, John worked in customer service of Waste Management. He loved playing video games and reading comic books.

John is survived by his loving wife of 4 years, Tiffany L. Hamon; his parents, Dawn and John M. Hamon, Sr.; his sister, Ashley Hamon; his grandmother, Delores Hamon; his cat, Scooter; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.


Visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 8pm on Thursday, August 21st at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main Street, Allentown, with a memorial service to be held at 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation, 202 North Avenue #305, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
