John "Jack" Gartland, 66 years young, left us all too soon on January 21, 2021. Jack was born and raised in Allentown and recently retired to Cream Ridge. Adored grandfather, devoted father, caring husband and so much more; he always cherished his family and friends, and he will be forever in our hearts.

Jack spent many weekends rooting for the Yankees and Eagles from the comfort of his couch with a huge cup of coffee. He spent his life making memories and retelling them to his grandsons. Every thunderstorm will remind us of him, lightening and he were not friends.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Lillian Gartland, his brother, Robert Gartland and his loving wife of 31 years, Carol Briggs Gartland; he leaves behind his son, Justin Gartland and his wife, Jill, his cherished grandsons, Jack and Joey; brother-in law and sister in-law Owen and Nancy Briggs, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26 ^th from 10-11:30 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in the Allentown Methodist Cemetery. To honor Jack's casual style, please wear your favorite jeans or sports attire.
