February 14, 1946 – January 10, 2024
John F. Fiore, 77, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday January 10, 2024 at Capital Health Systems in Hopewell. Born in New York City, John was a US Marine Veteran, proudly serving in Vietnam. He was a proud American who loved his country and his family. He went on to work for the State Police for several years before working for the East Windsor Police Department as a Detective, where he retired after many years. He loved teaching the children safety programs dressed as "McGruff".
He was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Allentown and the Knights of Columbus Council 7333. John was a former Executive Director of the East Windsor Pal and ran several sports programs for the youth of the community. He loved ice hockey and coached several East Windsor PAL ice hockey teams. He was a big sports fan and loved watching the Mets and the NY Giants. He also loved sports cars and his train collection. The most important thing was spending time with his family and grandchildren who he loved with all his heart.
Son of the late Frank and Rose Fiore, he was predeceased by his son, Adam Fiore. John is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Beverly Fiore; his stepsons, Jeffrey and Dawn Pagano, Michael and Sarah Pagano; his daughter in law, Jennifer Fiore; Vincent and Joann Pagano and Chris and Melissa Pagano. John is also survived by his grandchildren, Riley, Isabella, Vincent, Dominic, Anthony, Andi, Gabriella, Cassidy, Nick and Madison; his sister Fran Vicedomini of Florida; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank and Michele Romano and Anthony and Diane Romano.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 16th from 1-3pm and 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main Street, Allentown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, January 17th at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
