John J. Bulakowski, 92, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at RWJ University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a resident of Chesterfield for 58 years along with his wife Lois. They just reached their 63rd wedding anniversary after a chance meeting in the Trenton public library that turned into a long term love.

John attended Trenton schools and was a graduate of New York University. He was an Army veteran and was stationed in North Africa during WWII. He retired from the NJ Department of Treasury, Division of Investment.

Mr. Bulakowski was an avid photographer and won several local awards and recognitions and enjoyed taking family photos. He attended the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bordentown and doted on his numerous cats and dogs.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Charlotte Bulakowski and his siblings, Joseph and Stella, he is survived by his beloved wife Lois Nemeth Bulakowskiand his daughter, Janet Varan and her husband Walt, as well as family cousins.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
