Obituary

Jack ""The Buddy"" Baus, 62 of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Manatee Medical Center in Bradenton, FL.  Born in Trenton, he was a graduate of Hamilton High West and a resident of the Hamilton area for many years.  A US Air Force veteran, Jack retired as a Steel Worker.  He was an excellent bowler and was installed in the Mercer County Bowling Association Hall of Fame.  Jack loved boating and was an avid Phillies and Steelers fan.

Son of the late Clifford and Victoria Baus, he was predeceased by his wife, Nanci Baus and two brothers, Otto and Clifford H. Baus, Jr.; he is survived by his daughter and her husband, Kristin and Dwayne Rogalinski and their children, Ava and Jared; two sisters, Kathy Hanquist and her husband Richard and Kay Lemire; his fiancée, Valerie Hvasta as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 6-9pm and again on Friday from 9-10am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  A graveside service will be Friday 11am at Greenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Attn: Donor Services, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
