Joann J. Vanisko, 78, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Clare Estates in Bordentown. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime Hamilton area resident. A former member of St. Mary's Church in Trenton and a member of St. John's Church in Allentown, Joann worked as a secretary for Robert Buda Associates Engineering in Lawrenceville. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard and loved to travel with her husband and family. Above all, Joann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family.
Daughter of the late Josephine and Peter Sadley, she was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Thomas L. Vanisko and her sister, Patricia Harmon. Joann is survived by her children and their spouses, Catherine and Oliver Gritz of Germany, Thomas and Katie Vanisko of Hamilton, and Susanne and Alan Constance of Hamilton; her grandchildren, Maximillian, Alexandra, and Justinian Gritz, Jordan, and Taylor Guest, Madison Vanisko, and Emma, Ally, and Aidan Constance; her sisters, Mary Lyczak and Carol Sadley; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 2 nd from 5-7pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, January 3 rd at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. A private ceremony will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton.
