Obituary

Joann ""Jay"" Guariglia Maiorana, 86, of Jackson went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 31st. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Mapleshade, NJ; Jay was very involved in church and serving her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a past board member of Jesus' Harvest Time Ministries, a church in Jackson which held its first services in her restaurant Jay's Place. She was also a member and servant for 20 years at the Church of Grace and Peace in Toms River and most recently was a member of the Apostolic Restoration Church in Jackson which began in her home. Jay loved her Lord, her family and friends and was always available to those in need.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael and her son Ronald; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Peter Guilfoyle; her grandsons and their wives, Russell and Tanya Maxemow and Matthew and Eka Maxemow; her great grandchildren, Brandon and Alexis Fisher and Gabrielle and Jacob Maxemow as well as a sister and brother, Bella and Charles Guariglia.

Visitation with the family will be held 12:30pm on Wednesday, August 4th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown followed by a graveside service at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Restoration Church (A.R.C.), 177 Jackson Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ 08527.
